Orvis 301 Smallmouth Bass on the Fly Delaware River 6/30/2018

Yesterday we ran an Orvis 301 class on the Delaware River. We had 12 people out to learn about how to fly fish for smallmouth bass. The class covered flies, lines ranging from intermediate to sink tips to floating lines. We worked on casting and reading the river and where smallmouth bass will be and where they will feed. During the class we had someone catch a smallmouth and another one hooked but came unbuttoned.
